Brave to Love is a counter
- trafficking non-profit organisation. The primary mission of the social worker is to enhance human well-being and help meet the basic human needs of Brave to Love’s clients, with particular attention to the needs and empowerment of vulnerable, oppressed, and impoverished people. Brave to Love’s mission is to reach, rescue, rehabilitate, restore and re-integrate victims and survivors of trafficking and the system of trafficking.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Registered Social Worker with SACSSP
- At least 5-10 years of experience working in the field.
- Must be based in Pretoria.
- Valid driver’s license and car.
- A history of working with drug addiction will be an advantage.
- This position requires weekend and evening work in case of emergencies, outreaches and police rescue operations

**Skills and Experience required**:

- Good people and resource managing skills to manage safehouses of survivors.
- The person needs to be an excellent problem-solver.
- Be driven with strong leadership skills and have solid experience in leading a team.
- Have excellent skills in conflict management and team building.
- Strong administrative skills are required.
- Have a positive strong character and an example for young women to follow.
- Proficiency in trauma-informed care.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and provide compassionate care and empathy.
- Able to work independently and collaborate well within diverse teams.
- This is a long-term position to ensure victims’ well-being.
- Must be willing to support police on raids and rescue operations.
- Be able to work fast, and sufficiently, and be eager to learn and grow.

**About the NPO - Brave to Love**

Brave to Love is a faith-based non-profit organisation and our mission is to reach, rescue, rehabilitate, restore and re-integrate victims and survivors of trafficking. We provide emotional, physical, and psychological support to survivors who have been vulnerable and trafficked. We provide training to the brave survivors that have become survivors to better their lives.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 per month
