**Operations and Rigging Supervisor**

The **Operations and Rigging Supervisor**will be assisting the Operations Manager with the efficient running of the general business of Schoeman Crane Hire and Schoeman Access and Transport Hire, he will insure that all employees are attending to their daily tasks and that all works gets done in a efficient, correct and timely manner. He will strive to eliminate any possible arising issues and deal with it efficiently to ensure that the scheduled services supplied are completed 100% to the client’s request. This position is one of the 4 main pillars of the business and therefore needs to be managed as one of the most important parts of business.

**Some of the requirements**:
A matric (Grade 12) level of education as a minimum

Tertiary qualification or artisan qualification which include management/supervision.

Computer literate (MS Office, Word and Excel)

Minimum 5 years’ proven operational management/ supervisory experience within a Logistics/Plant Hire or Rigging/Crane Hire company.

Proven financial and administrative experience

Prepared to work flexible hours/ duty weekends

Visible initiative and drive (proactive & lead by example)

A sound knowledge of relevant quality working standards and safe working procedures as well as the requirements of the Health and Safety legislation.

Sound Industrial Relations knowledge, in respect of managing semi-skilled labour and experienced operators.

Ability to implement and uphold company policies and SOP’s.

Good level of English Literacy & Numeracy essential Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential. The ability to communicate in Afrikaans and/or Zulu would be advantageous.

Maintain and develop excellent customer relationships

Meticulous & accurate in the task needed to be performed.

Ability to work effectively under pressure

Valid Code 08 Drivers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R20 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
