**About**:
To Project Manager manage medium to large projects and programmes of the company’s customers, as well as provide support and guidance to the project coordinators and project managers in the PMO where and when necessary.

**Accountability**:

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Stand-in for the PMO Manager when and where necessary
- Support and provide guidance to the project coordinators and project managers in the team, as well as lead from the front from a process and procedure perspective
- Continual improvement in the project management space - thinking outside of the box
- Co-ordinate and manage all project activities end-to-end
- Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
- Develop all required project artifacts per the process/methodology expectations
- Track delivery timescales and expected benefits
- Manage budgets - costs vs income
- Booking, and managing the exact resources to be used to deliver the stage, whilst conforming to the overall project plan - Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
- Monitoring, and regular reporting on the overall progress against defined project scope
- Management and clear communication of risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies
- Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
- Attend and run project meetings, achieving common understanding and accurate outcomes
- Co-ordinate tasks in teams
- Accurate progress reporting into the bigger programmes where applicable

**Person Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- 5 to 10 years proven track record experience in project management of ICT projects and programmes
- Experienced at coordinating and managing all aspects of a portfolio of medium to large, complex, projects and programmes simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build sound business relationships
- Good written and spoken communications at all levels of business
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Organised approach to work, managing own and others workload
- Experienced at setting up meetings and keeping minutes
- Using Microsoft Project
- Use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Producing project progress reports
- Ability to follow defined guidelines and processes
- IT Service Management experience would be beneficial

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12
- Project Management qualification or certification
- ICT-related qualification or certification (or equivalent work experience)

**Additional Skills/Attributes**:

- PRINCE2 or PMBOK (Minimum Foundation Level)
- ITIL exposure and understanding
- ICT Technical background is essential
