Principal Inspector

Requirements
- A Senior Certificate
- A relevant National Diploma
- Basic Law Enforcement, Traffic and/or Policing qualification
- Four (4) years Supervisory experience in a law enforcement or

similar environment at Senior Inspector level.
- Computer Literacy.
- A valid driver’s licence
- No criminal record

Key Performance Areas
- Supervise and control staff in more than one unit.
- Develop plans, schedule and coordinate work activities in the units.
- Supervise the allocation of resources within the units.
- Coordinate and monitor of law enforcement strategies, policies

and procedures.
- Monitor performance of personnel in the units.
- Implement systems in the section to curb corruption.
- Attending meetings with stakeholders in the environment of Law

Enforcement.
- Perform administrative sequence related to statutory

documentation, registers and statistics.

**Please Note**:

- Willingness to work 24 hour shifts on roster basis or on shifts schedule

basis as and when required Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays
- Required to be on standby duties and be required to assume duty

as and when required whilst on standby
- It is compulsory as a contractual condition that we employee

carries a firearm while on compliance to all relevant legalisation and

policies.
