An exciting BI Analyst Internship opportunity has become available within TFG. Imagine having the chance to develop and expand your skills whilst working for one of the leading retailers in Africa. This opportunity is a 12-month internship at our Head Office in Cape Town.

**Role Objectives**:

- Assist with access-related requests and work with users and stores to resolve incidents.
- Monitor user access and permissions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Resolving data issues related to dashboards and reports (e.g. Pyramid, Tableau, SSRS)
- Grant access to various systems (Pyramid, Tableau, SSAS Cubes).
- Create and deploy SQL scripts as requested.
- Categorise and execute tasks according to impact and urgency.
- Manage changes that are pre-authorized based on risk level (Low, medium, high) and impact (minor, significant and emergency).

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Must have a relevant IT qualification.
- Basic understanding of SQL language.
- Creating, compiling, updating, and investigating stored procedures, tables and views.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools, including Agile and DevOps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate. technical information to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
