Electronic Engineer needed with a passion in R&D low power electronic circuit design and radio frequency systems.

**Position details**:
Type: Permanent
Reports to: Research and Development Manager

Job description / core competencies:
Assist with antenna designs for new product and technology developments.

Validate design concepts with disciplined testing, analysis, and simulations.

Design electronic circuits: analogue, embedded and digital.

Stay current with emerging technologies.

Development of prototypes and technology demonstrators.

Work as part of a team.

Work with cross-functional teams on non-electrical system disciplines i.e., mechanical integration, industrial design, etc.

Compile project and technical reports.

**Location**: Alberton, Gauteng

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Bsc/BEng Electrical Engineering 3+ years' experience in low power electronic circuit design and experience in radio frequency systems and antenna design an advantage.

Circuit analysis, signal processing, simulation, and design.

Experience in embedded system design.

Strong knowledge of microprocessors.

Source code development using C language.

Strong knowledge of analogue circuits and design.

Testing and troubleshooting experience using basic equipment such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes and DMM's.

Knowledgeable in system integration including ESD, and EMI design.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Good report writing skills.

Capable at multi-tasking several projects simultaneously.
