**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repairs, ensuring compliance with codes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Install electrical components such as switches, circuit breakers, outlets, and fixtures.
- Perform upgrades and preventive maintenance to electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role
- Valid electrician’s license or certification (if applicable in your area).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing devices, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various positions, including confined spaces and heights.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if you have).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with advanced electrical systems (e.g., smart home systems, renewable energy systems).
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or other automated systems.
- Certification in specific areas such as industrial or high-voltage systems (if applicable).

**Working Conditions**:

- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.
- May involve working in tight spaces, at heights, or in various weather conditions.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet project deadline

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to R4 000,00 per month

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week

**Education**:
