Financial Analyst

**_Financial Analyst - Budgeting & Forecasting_**:
**_What is the job:_**:
**_What will be expected of you?_**:

- **Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive budge**ts and financial forecasts **for various departments, projects, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads and business leaders to gather input, validate assumptions, and **align budgeting and forecasting processes with organizational goals.**:

- Analyze historical financial data, market trends, and operational metrics to **develop accurate and actionable** **forecasts.**:

- ** Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget variance analyses** to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement. Including cashflow forecast.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on budget and forecast analyses**, highlighting risks, opportunities, and areas for cost optimization.**:

- ** Develop and maintain financial models** to support scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and strategic planning efforts.
- Assist in the **preparation of financial reports, presentations, and dashboards.**:

- Continuously **improve budgeting and forecasting processes**, tools, and methodologies to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- ** Assist Finance leaders where required.**

**_Are you qualified?_**:

- **Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.**:

- **Master's degree or CPA/CFA designation is preferred**.

**_Did you do this before?_**:

- **Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or related roles**.
- Experience in **FMCG **is a plus.

**_Do you have what it takes?_**:

- **Advanced proficiency in financial modeling,** Microsoft Excel, and financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion).
- ** Strong understanding of financial principles**, budgeting methodologies, and forecasting techniques.
- ** Excellent analytical skills** with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- ** Effective communication and collaboration skills** with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- ** Proven track record of meeting deadlines**, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to changing business requirements.
