**Job Advert Summary**:
Rand Water’s Graduate Development Programme is a structured, sector-aligned initiative aimed at capacitating the next generation of professionals in support of sustainable water management. The programme will immerse graduates in a dynamic environment, equipping them with industry-relevant skills aligned to Occupationally Directed Education, Training, and Development Practices (ODETDP).
Graduates will receive training and mentorship in the following focus areas:

- Freshwater Aquatic Sciences
- Water Technology
- Wastewater Technology
- Digital Technology and Innovation

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Applicants must hold a relevant Master’s qualification (NQF Level 9) in the following area**:

- Engineering: MEng or MSc in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Unemployed and have no prior work experience related to the qualification
- South African citizen with a valid South African ID
- Under the age of 35, in line with the National Skills Development Strategy III
- Possess a valid Code 08 driver’s license (advantageous)
- A comprehensive CV
- Certified copies of academic qualifications
- Academic transcripts or statements of results
- A certified copy of their South African ID
- A certified copy of their driver’s license (if applicable)

**Primary Duties**:
As a graduate you will be exposed to the workplace and be provided with an opportunity to develop technical and professional competencies.
