Are you interested in furthering your career in the private surgical sector? Do you have a passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery encompassing specialised surgical care? We have a vacancy for a Theatre Unit Manager to join our team.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse
- Post Basic Diploma in Operating Theatre Technique
- 5 years Operational Experience in a Theatre Unit
- Previous experience in a management position
- Excellent MS Office computer skills, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the surgical unit
- Be operational as well as manage the administrative duties
- Liaise and communicate with Surgeons
- Management of staff
- Stock and equipment management including ordering of stock and equipment
- Maintain infection control strategies and procedures of the hospital
- Maintain health and safety principles
- Must be able to function effectively independently
