Position details:
Type: Permanent
Job description / core competencies:
Solid modelling and detailing of:
1. Mining process equipment - includes detailing requirements for machining, welding and protective coating equipment suite:

- Industrial Mixers/Agitators
- Carbon and Resin Mineral Processing Screens
- CIL (carbon-in-leach), CIP (carbon in pulp) and RIP Plants
- Electrowinning Cells
- Carbon Regeneration Kilns
- Tanks and launders which includes sheet metal.
- Structures including access arrangements, grating and handrailing.
- Pipe manifolds including supports.

Location (country, city): Midrand, South Africa

Job Qualification & Experience:
Draughtsman with 2 to 5 years’ experience.

Minimum Requirements:
Own Transport
Matric with a good head for mathematics especially trigonometry and geometry - 50% mark in standard grade mathematics;
Autodesk Inventor (essential)

Autodesk Advance Steel (essential)
Autodesk Plant (Ideal)

Temperament and personality:
Level-headed, focused, hardworking with a keen and passionate eye for detail.
Able to work in an open plan office.
Skilled in managing their own time and prioritising their workload to meet their deliverables.
Comfortable to function under extreme time constraints (all day every day).
Not scared to ask questions (don’t assume or guess when not sure).
Able to interact with junior and senior peers
The successful incumbent must be prepared to work as part of a team and to be prepared to share in the development of other employees by sharing knowledge acquired.
