Accommodation/resort Manager

**General Description of Position**:
**Skills and Experience**:
- A Minimum of 4 to 5 years experience in hospitality management;
- Resort Background is an advantage;
- Valid drivers license;
- Outstanding customer service skills and maintaining a professional demeanor;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance, food and cost management)
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Provide a welcoming environment for guests with high standards of service, meals and housekeeping which meet the company's expectations;
- Maintain smooth operation of the accommodation, its facilities, infrastructure and services and ensure that equipment is working and staff are trained;
- Ensure accommodation meets safety standards and legislation;
- Plan and oversee renovations and maintenance;
- Reduce accommodation operating costs and conserve energy;
- Maintain Budgets, expenses and activity logs;
- Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly;
- Assess operational issues and take the best course of action to get issues resolved;
- Liaise with the Restaurant Manager and Events manager.
**Salary**: R20 000,00 per month
