**My client, a leading, successful small concern, has a vacancy for an experienced Factory Manager to supervise their factory employees and ensure that factory targets are met.**

- Responsibilities include scheduling of work for each line of Machinists
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations
- Collaborating with Quality Controllers to establish and execute quality control processes and ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.
- Handling absenteeism and liaising with HR on related matters.
- Screen, recruit and train new factory workers.
- Regularly walking the factory floor to monitor the performance of factory staff.
- Ensure that all production orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injury.
- Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.
- Motivating factory workers to continually achieve factory targets.
- Analyse production data to identify and resolve any production issues.
- Prepare production reports and submit them to key decision-makers.
- **Key Requirements**_
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Logistics or Clothing Production Management.
- Proven 2 - 5 years experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management as well as Quality Control.
- Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
- Good managerial skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional planning and management of tasks.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Ability to show initiative.
- Performance driven.
- Highly organized & has the ability to multitask.
