We are looking for a **Stores Assistant** to join the Devcotech Midrand Team.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Carry out random stock check/validation on individual items as well as assisting with major stock takes/checks.
- Local deliveries and collections as and when required (valid drivers license)
- Prepare equipment, stock for forthcoming jobs.
- Issue components to workshop, installation department or job
- Ensure that the storeroom is kept clean and tidy and complies with health and safety legislation.
- Use of forklift for loading/unloading of goods/equipment (Training will be provided)
- Compiling of re-order lists of consumables
- Data-capturing on Job-Sys
- Allocations on Job-sys
- Assist with driving duties and maintenance of vehicles.
- Prepare Delivery notes.
- Assist with issuing store items.
- Fleet Maintenance (services and breakdown)
- Fuel Tracker

**Preferred Experience**:

- Must be computer literate
- Basic experience with Microsoft office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Knowledge of electrical components will be to your advantage
- Pervious storeroom experience will be to your advantage

- Stores: 1 year (preferred)
