Retired Nurse

**Key performance areas**
- Phlebotomy and collect samples from research study participants.
- Dispense medication
- Sustain a good working relationship with host institution staff
- To undertake study related duties as specified by study protocol and delegation log.
- Communicate routinely with the study coordinator, principal investigator, and others.
- Do proper filing of results and any other study related documents in the relevant assigned places.

**Required minimum education and training.**
- Retired nurse
- Speak isiZulu
- Computer literate
- Drives (incl. manual gears)

**Professional body registration**
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse

**Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities**
- Good Clinical Practice
- Lead and work independently as well as be part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in study requirements.
- Must be able to pay attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn.
- Eager to put more hours and travel and able to work under pressure.
- Must be able to work independently and within a team.
- Complete weekly/ monthly study reports.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
