Machine Minder

**The incumbent, reporting to the Shift Supervisor, will be responsible for the following**:

- Achieving required efficiencies and productivity on the assigned flexo press
- Ensuring that the output meets Rotolabel quality standards
- Ensuring that material usage is in line with standards and that excess material and material waste is minimized
- Ensuring that autonomous maintenance is carried out as per standing instructions and standard operating procedures, so that the machine remains in good condition
- Ensuring that 5S principles are upheld and that housekeeping on and around the machine is in line with excellent standards
- Adhering to all health and safety instructions and practices

**Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 (Matric)
- A recognised Roll-label Machine Minding qualification
- At least 5 years’ practical experience of operating a printing press
- A proven track record of operating a flexo press will be a distinct advantage
- Experience in embellishment processes such as foiling, silkscreen and high build will be advantageous

- Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- Machine Minder: 5 years (preferred)
