Reservations Agent

We are looking for a detail-oriented Reservation Agent in the Somerset West/Helderberg Area to join our dynamic team and assist our customers with their travel desires, whiles receiving a basic salary and uncapped commission.

Reservation Agent Responsibilities:
You will provide various planning and booking services, including answering customers’ questions, making travel suggestions, and executing travel requests based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances. All fields need to be done whilst being able to work with mínimal supervision and having excellent customer service skills, followed by:

- Selling and promoting reservation services.
- Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
- Responsible for quoting, booking, finance, queries, and complaint handling
- Ensure enquiries are actioned as per the agreed SOP
- Ensure that clients receive quotes, invoices, and documentation within the minimum expected time period.
- Ensure that all client statements, invoices, and queries are sent out as per minimum expectations.
- Efficiently balance the need to meet deadlines and work speedily under time pressures while maintaining high standards of service
- Service orientated, drive brand initiatives for greater customer engagement and retention

Reservation Agent Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years in the Leisure travel environment
- Travel or Tourism Certificate
- Online proficiency and experience
- Amadeus GDS essential
- Working knowledge of Excel and MS Office
- Target-orientated (sales)
- Extensive global product and geographical travel knowledge
- Practical working experience with Amadeus and fares and ticketing experience

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Somerset West, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
