Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Head Of Practice Data Centres to join their team in Sandton. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with excellent benefits and a great working environment.

The Head of Practice for Data Centers are accountable for the Data Center Go-to-Market product strategy and driving the overall profit and loss of the business unit. The role requires focus on digitization and strategic transformation of the data center ecosystem and DC assets under its management, to ensure optimal commercial and operational efficiencies and profitability. The data center and colocation products and services must meet and exceed market expectations and aim for a unique and different value proposition compared to competitors.

The role requires to be creative in commercial and contractual deal-making, challenging the status quo, setting the tone for continuous change, improvement and working closely with sales, marketing, solutions and services to ensure the sales experience, the client experience and product strengths and weaknesses are understood throughout the organization.

You will be the face of Data Centers and make public appearances, attend events, write articles, make speeches, position the product offering and value proposition of the products and services offered to the market.

This role has got it all. It has the role of a CEO, Product Management, Business Development, Sales Management, Service Management while delighting our clients and enabling our clients to grow, expand and scale across South Africa, Africa and the globe. Never a dull moment

**Skills and Attributes**

Although technical team members in the organization will assist and support the execution of your strategy, aims, objectives and KPIs, the following will be advantageous to the role, team, division, and broader Dimension Data culture.

**Certifications and/or experience with the following will be beneficial**:

- Product Management, Agile, ITIL, Cisco, Schneider, Uptime, Cloud Fundamentals, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Software-Defined Infrastructure

**Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**
- Honors or Masters will be advantageous
- Minimum 10 years experience in Data Centers / Colocation / Cloud / Telecommunications
- Minimum 5 years in management/leadership roles and successfully running a business unit
- Financial Management and doing business cases
- A track record of dealing with C-suite and Data Center / Multi-cloud decision makers
- A track record of positivity, enthusiasm and achieving objectives and sales targets
