**Job Specification: Junior Bid Administrator**
**Position Title**: Junior Bid Administrator
**Location**: Midrand, Johannesburg
**Job Purpose**
To coordinate and manage all aspects of bid administration, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of tenders and proposals while maintaining compliance with client requirements and internal policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Bid Management**:
- Coordinate and compile bid documentation in line with tender requirements.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and compliance with client specifications.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:
- Maintain a database of tenders, RFPs, and related documents.
- Ensure proper archiving and retrieval of bid documents.
- **Communication**:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, technical teams) to gather required input.
- Act as a point of contact with clients during the bidding process.
- **Research and Analysis**:
- Monitor tender opportunities and identify potential projects.
- Analyse bid results and provide insights for improvement.
- **Compliance**:
- Verify that all submissions meet legal, financial, and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with tender portals and procurement systems.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, security, or related industries.
- Knowledge of bid management processes and legal compliance.
- Driver License
