Junior Foreman

We looking for a Junior Foreman to work for our client in the construction industry. The Junior Foreman role assumes supervisory responsibilities over workers, materials, and plant on a section of the work. The work entails working to programmes and deadlines as agreed with the Senior Foreman. The job presumes communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.

**Requirements**:

- Co-ordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

**Qualification**
- Matric
- Engineering qualification
- At least 2-3 years building experience - site based (in the Gauteng area).
- Min 3 years related experience in the construction/Engineering environment

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Krugersdorp, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
