**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Customer Service**: Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained across all departments.
- **Staff Management**: Assist in managing, training, and motivating a team of butchery staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- **Operations**: Support daily operations of the butchery, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
- **Stock Control**: Assist in managing inventory using the Meat Matrix stock control system, ensuring adequate supply and minimizing wastage.
- **HACCP Compliance**: Ensure all processes and products comply with HACCP standards and other relevant health and safety regulations.
- **Reporting**: Assist in generating reports on sales, stock levels, and staff performance.
- **Opening and Closing**: Responsible for opening and closing the shop on days when the Butchery Manager is off.
- **Transportation**: Ensure own transport is available for reliable commute to and from work.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a butchery or similar environment.
- **Customer Service**: Demonstrable experience in delivering excellent customer service.
- **Staff Management**: Proven track record of managing and leading a team.
- **Knowledge of Meat Products**: Extensive knowledge of various meat products, cuts, and preparation methods.
- **HACCP Processes**: Understanding of HACCP processes and compliance.
- **Stock Control**: Experience with the Meat Matrix stock control system is a distinct advantage.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, as part of a 7-day retail operation.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
- **Transportation**: Own transport required for reliable commute.
