Role
The Data Analyst is a team member who actively contributes to external and internal Analytical projects for MasterCard Advisors clients and will:
- Develop a working relationship with analyst lead and the team
- Develop and produce analytical reports with the support and guidance of the analyst team
- Contribute towards everyday client deliverables supporting the analysis team
- Support in automating regular analytical deliverables and create efficiencies within the analytics function
- Develop analytical skills by ensuring recommendations and insights are included in all pieces of analysis and deliver prepared presentations with guidance
- Identify client challenges and bring ideas on potential opportunities
All About You
This role would be best suited to a person that has a passion for all things data and has a strong technical background in data analysis/reporting.
Education Needed:
- Degree in a quantitative field [e.g. Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Computer Science]
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Programming ability in either of the following languages: Python/R/SAS, SQL coding will be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills and have knowledge of methods to analyse datasets e.g. regression, classification, clustering.
- Exposure to visualization /dashboarding and creating automated reports would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team or independently.
