**Role Purpose**
- Assists the Compliance Officers and the Head of Compliance in the execution of their functions, which includes second line monitoring, reporting, planning etc.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Law, Accounting or Compliance
- At least 1 - 2 years’ experience in the assistance of compliance officers (to the advantage for an intern)
- Knowledge of how a compliance function operates
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Internal Processes:
- Second line quality assurance monitoring
- Collation of monitoring plans, Regulatory universes and Compliance Risk Management monitoring plans, reporting documentation and CRMPS and other compliance documentation
- Assist compliance officers with the compilation of compliance reports
- Interacting with the business in respect of second line quality assurance monitoring, where required, Interacts with MML Group Compliance in respect of segment compliance requirements
- Tracks regulation and assists and alerts compliance officers in keeping up to date with regulatory requirements
- Assistance in adhoc compliance projects and driving automation of compliance monitoring and reporting
