Requirements

EPIC (Emergency Police Incident Control), a new department within

the Safety and Security Directorate, requires a dynamic, committed,

and passionate applicant to become part of the dedicated team

that will support the Safety and Security Directorate's utilisation of

EPIC as well as assist with the Directorate's Digital Transformation

journey.

This position will assess, design and lead the training initiatives that will

support the Technology, Innovation and Information Teams, as well

as the EPIC Command Centre Team to deliver interventions that

enhance the utilisation and value generated by the EPIC

technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small department within the

Directorate and to become part of a team committed to improving

the safety of all through the use of innovative technology
- A relevant B degree within the fields of Training, Change and/or

Organisational Development
- Two (2) to five (5) years’ relevant training related experience
- Technology related training experience would be advantageous
- Competence in at least two languages of the Western Cape (one

of which is English)
- A valid Code B driver's licence
- Computer literacy.

Key Performance Areas
- Manage, facilitate and co-ordinate the implementation of the EPIC

Education, Training and Development plan within the directorate
- Initiate ETD interventions within the EPIC environment
- Support the introduction of EPIC ETD initiatives departmental

training facilities
- Liaise with other EPIC sections to prioritise, standardise and

centralise interventions
- Implement, monitor and report on the effectiveness of programmes

and interventions
- Coordinate and conduct training courses
