Reporting to the Studio Manager, the Stylist is responsible to enhance Ackermans’ online commerce website imagery, as well as social media and ATL campaign photography by styling on-trend top-to-toe looks on the model, styling products for flatpack imagery, sample management, prop & set sourcing, refreshing and assist with additional on-trend social media content. Ackermans is an employer choice, boasting an end-to-end benefits offering, hybrid / flexible working environment and an amazing company culture If you meet the requirements, hit the "apply" button to get one step closer to joining the best retailer in SA **Qualifications**: Relevant Degree in Fashion, Marketing or similar **Knowledge, Skills and Experience**: Experience Required: - 2-3 years' experience in online commerce photography styling - 2-3 years' experience in off-model photoshoots for apparel, footwear, accessories - Experience in social media content creation for blogs, and social media platforms. Experience Preferred: - Experience in working within a fashion retail business enviornment - Experience in high volume or production environment **Key Responsibilities**: 1. Sample co-ordination - Sample sorting by age and gender category - Sample intake into Studio utilising sample management system - Garment steaming and quality check - Sample planning for Photographer according to shoot schedule - Sample check-out via sample management system and return to relevant department 2. Trend research and development - Collaborate with Trend & Deisgn team to keep abreast of local and internal fashion styling trends - Establish styling in accordance with Ackermans' identity and line with current trends 3. Shoot planning and preperation - Ensure styling requirements from Studio Manager are completed prior to shoot commencement - Support Photographers on shoot - Liaise with models 4. Wardrobe build and maintenance - Collaborate with Trend & Design team to determine wardrobe items in accordance with lastest fashion trends - Source and return applicable garments and accories according to season / shoot requirements - Manage garments and accessories, ensuring it is kept up to date, in good condition and securely stored 5. Set and prop management and maintenance - Advise on trends in colour, texture, têxtiles, etc. to inform or enhance set and prop design - Refresh set and props in accordance with seasonal / planned shoot requirements - Ensure set and prop items are in kept in good condition and securely stored 6. Content creation - Create content by means of a cellphone for a social media asset bank - Management of a social media asset bank - Assist with content for Ackermans' blog - Collaborate with Trend & Design team to keep abreast of local and international social media trends
