**_ Position Purpose:_**
A national leasing manager is responsible for implementing processes relating the lease strategies and requirements of
multiple properties for potential renters and ensuring that all leasing administration and documentation are accurate and that
the standards of property management and clients' qualifications are followed. The national leasing manager is tasked with
the development marketing campaigns with the marketing department to advertise leasing properties through media relations
in-house personnel, tenants, outside counsel, architects, consultants, brokers, and municipalities to negotiate, organize,
track, and support our leasing processes.

Assist in drafting and overseeing processes that enable seamless negotiations, preparations, and reviewing of leases along
with related documents, amendments, renewals, extensions, licenses, terminations, subleases, lessor consents, right-of-first
offer & right-of-first-refusal notices, cell tower agreements, etc.
Manage the onboarding and ongoing management of national ancillary service providers (e.g., broker community, etc.).
Listing current and predictable vacancies on all pertinent platforms.
Drafting and signing legally sound and detailed lease agreements.
Addressing and recording all rule violations.
Monitor leasing administration.
Manage daily and weekly marketing and leasing reports.
Gain comprehensive knowledge of assigned properties on vacancies, major tenants, small tenancy, and lease expirations.
Implement draft proposals, lease offers and documents on incoming and current tenancies to be cascaded to all leasing
teams across all Transnet Property Portfolio.
Engage Transnet Properties Legal department to ensure that all leasing documentation (including but not limited to offers to
screened to ensure the highest accuracy, presentation, and format. These documentations should meet standard industry
practice and protect Transnet Properties from all perceivable shortcomings.
Monitor and report building vacancy levels to management.
Monitor lease expirations and proactively contact existing tenants for renewals or extensions.
Assist with prospective tenant showings at properties and relevant lease negotiations throughout the entire Transnet Property
Portfolio.
Performing relevant inspections prior to returning lessees' deposits.
Stakeholder Management
Building relationships with key business partners both internally/externally to maximise outcomes.
The national leasing manager is tasked with maintaining an accurate database of all national key accounts to formulate
appropriate responses to the potential tenant inquiries and concerns.
Develop and follow-up with potential accounts.
Establish key relationships with communities that Transnet Properties serve.
Meet tenants to build rapport and encourage leasing relations.
Manage quality communication, customer support and product representation for each prospect.
Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders/customers to maintain communication between management and
all-related, as well as assist in a multitude of administrative tasks.
Develop tenant concept plans with relevant development teams, including architects, facilities management, etc.
Maintain a tracking database of all portfolio leasing matters.
Strategy / Budget
Scouting for prospective lessees.
Crafting snag lists in coordination with facilities management and ensuring that a standard process is followed by all regional
leasing consultants.
Ensuring that all lease negotiations are value and income enhancing throughout the entire Transnet Property Portfolio.
Draft comprehensive marketing and strategic leasing plan.
Develop and implement necessary templates for periodic reporting for all regional leasing teams.
Oversee internal lease review process.
