Deli Supervisor

**DELI SUPERVISOR**

We are seeking a deli supervisor to join our team. The Deli Supervisor will also be responsible for sales, gross margin, profitability and merchandising activities. They will also communicate company and department policies to their internal team as well as work closely to help achieve the store’s goals.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage and support your deli team.
- Direct, influence and assist the deli to increase sales.
- Purchasing and management of inventory
- Build and maintain an effective deli department.
- Demonstrate strong management skills
- Inspection of food products that are prepared and ensure quality and safety.
- Supervise other deli staff and schedule work activities; ensure deli opening times are maintained and fully staffed. Ensure that all food hygiene and safety standards are met and keep up to date with industry standards.
- Determine costing and set meal prices
- Conduct deli training, merchandising, sales, and profitability growth.
- Administration: Signing off on invoices, timesheets and checklists, draft duty roster
- Build and maintain relationships with retail store teams.
- Input plans, conduct department meetings, advocate for retailers’ ad items.
- Share current industry trends and changes.
