**Qualifications**: - Grade 12 or equivalent - Further qualifications related to retail/business will be an advantage
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**: Knowledge and skills: - Written and verbal communication (competence in a second official language would be a definite advantage) - Leadership (including the ability to delegate effectively) - Selling - Conflict handling - Mentoring and coaching - Problem solving - Stock management processes - Product knowledge - Visual Merchandising principles - Customer service principles - Retail Risk control processes, tool and policies - Cost control - Basic knowledge of fashion trends Experience: - A minimum of 3 years’ experience at a supervisory level in a clothing retail environment - Proven ability to manage and lead a team
**Key Responsibilities**: 1. Sales and stock management - Effectively implement replenishment processes - Effectively implement Visual Merchandising - Drive sales targets - Daily sales - Financial services - Cellular growth - Lay-by growth 2. Customer service - Ensure effective product knowledge within the team - Educate the team on the Ackemans’ Customer Service Model and drive the execution thereof - Ensure efficient housekeeping disciplines - Manage customer interactions, requests, and complaints 3. Risk management - Effectively manage all SOPs aimed at minimising stock loss and ensure that the stock loss below company norm - Ensure the effective usage of risk tools - OHASA implementation and adherence 4. People management - Recruitment - Scheduling - Payroll - Employee Relations - Team development and succession planning - Signoff off and balancing of staff registers 5. Culture - Ensure Phadimas know and live CRISP values - Drive recognition in line with the company policies
