Reporting to: Head of finance

**The role**:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, We are recruiting for our first FP&A analyst role. We are looking for highly capable and commercially-minded finance professional to support the company's continued growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the accurate financial reporting of the different business units
- Reporting and managing direct costs for each business unit
- Ensure accurate reporting of the forecast of the various business units
- Manage coordination for all financial planning input, encompassing Recurring Revenues, Projects, employment costs, overheads and working capital
- Liaising with operational and commercial areas of the business to understand current performance across all projects and contacts, against the plan
- Identify risks and opportunities to close gaps and prepare commentary for discussion with the organisation on business performance and outlook.
- Build and manage business models to support scenario planning.
- Support the establishment of a rolling forecast process to enable the business to make rapid resolutions
- Formal and Ad-hoc Board and Investor reporting
- Ad hoc financial analysis as needed to support business decisions
- Continual focus on process and systems.

**Basic Requirements**
- 2 years of Business Finance / Reporting
- CIMA/CA/Finance degree - advantageous
- Experience in financial modelling and analysis with a commercial mindset
- Advanced Excel knowledge, knowledge of SQL is advantageous and ability to learn new financial systems quickly
- Pragmatic, practical with excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise
- Ability to assess and improve processes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
