Interim Global Finance Data Migration Analyst

Dentons is currently recruiting an interim Global Finance Data Migration Analyst to support the implementation of a significant global Finance transformation program. The Interim Global Finance Data Migration Analyst’s primary responsibility is supporting Dentons global financial transformation initiative. Working alongside Business Technology team members (global and regional) and transformation project teams, the individual is accountable for the analysis of data elements and overall data flow to support the financial transformation platform to meet all project requirements. Reporting into the Interim Global Finance Integrations and Data Services Lead, this individual will be accountable to the financial transformation project team.

The individual is also responsible for collaborating closely with all Dentons regions with an objective of ensuring the successful technical integration and continued alignment with evolving Firm standards. This includes the support of cross regional initiatives involving the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

The finance transformation program is a truly global program designed to transform Dentons' Finance function into the business partnering function of the future. It will support the business by offering true business insight, efficient and effective processes while maintaining the necessary compliance and controls.

**Key Deliverables**
- Support the Dentons regions in their plans to migrate legacy systems to the global platforms.
- Work closely with the global data and integration team, and TRE conversion team to ensure successful migration.
- Interact with regional data and integration teams to ensure the global platform works well with their other processes, and assume a role in document data structures, including data maps, data lineage and assisting with data translation.
- Work closely with the global and regional migration, integration and infrastructure teams to ensure the platform design is tightly integrated with the other global and regional platforms and data elements.

**Key Responsibilities**

Conversion Tasks
- In all of these tasks, co-ordinate and work with GFT Integration and Data services Lead, TRE Conversion Lead, and relevant Global, Regional and TRE conversion resources and stakeholders
- Work with TRE Conversion Team, GFT teams and Regional conversion team to manage data maps, data translation and data lineage.
- Agree scope of migrations, level of expected accuracy
- Assist in management of was/is of global setups in each region
- Work with regions to ensure data is cleansed and issues affecting data migrations are resolved
- Manage documentation of migrations including data maps, documents, reports
- Work with cutover manager to plan and execute conversion related activities for and during cutover
- Co-ordinate analysis, reconciliation and testing of migrations with GFT Test Lead
- Develop plans for conversion of integration systems with GFT Integration Lead

Additional skills:

- Experience managing data migrations
- Data mapping experience
- Experience with 3E, Aderant or Elite Enterprise

Outcomes:

- Successful set of data migrations within agreed timeframes
- Minimize rework on migrations
- Minimize disruption to the business during go-live
- Successful movement of data into new global data model

- Business international level of English - both written and oral;
