**Client Details**:
**Role Responsibilities**:
Lead the development and implementation of a data strategy, including processes for data intake, sources, database design and structure, data integrity, and database tools, to guide future direction and decision-making.

Utilise data and information to generate insights that inform high-level strategy and tactical decision-making to support revenue and profitability objectives for both internal and external customer-facing data.

Advocate for a data-driven culture, provide leadership for a team of cross-functional analysts, and support and train staff in data systems and reporting to champion a self-service culture.

Develop and execute a plan to increase self-service capabilities for both internal users and customers.

Foster proactive communication and collaboration with internal and external customers to ensure information needs are understood, formalised, and met, and stay informed on functional requirements for information exchange.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Account and others, to forecast needs and business requirements.

Implement business intelligence and analytics solutions and obtain support from multiple stakeholders.

Implement a formal data governance approach to enhance the maturity of the enterprise data capability and environment.

Influence and implement business process changes to create an efficient and cost-effective business operations environment.

**Relevant Skills / Experience**:
Possess over 7 years of experience as an analyst, data scientist or data engineer in the telecommunications industry.

Exhibit a strategic mindset with a proven track record of implementing data frameworks and driving continuous improvement.

Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence leadership to achieve business goals.

Experienced in managing and coaching cross-functional team members to achieve optimal performance.

Familiar with telecommunications products and knowledgeable in financial and other metrics used in the industry, as well as industry data sources.

Exposure to telecommunications company processes and functions to facilitate a better understanding of the industry landscape.

Possess strong teamwork skills, enabling collaboration and the ability to build strong relationships with co-workers and internal clients to support the development and implementation of business solutions.

Display project management skills to effectively plan, organise, motivate, and control resources to achieve specified project goals and objectives while respecting defined constraints.

Exhibit decision-making skills, soliciting and objectively considering input from appropriate sources and weighing the implications of actions on other areas, people, and processes before making decisions.

Exhibit agility and adaptability, adjusting approaches to suit each situation and embracing new situations with ease.
