,**About us** We are professional, agile, innovative and our goal is to digitize and digitalize land owned by rural communities thus allowing them to produce more food at reduced cost, harvest healthier foods to feed the communities, and food production independence. Our aim to demonstrate the potential for the combination of several restoration strategies (traditional tree planting, agroforestry, applied nucleation, assisted natural regeneration, direct seeding...), with the active participation of local stakeholders (forestry service, local authorities, local populations). This "group project " aims at restoring a continuous area of at least 65,000 ha and to have planted/replanted 4 million trees by March 2026 and 12 million trees by the end of the 2030 The M&E Manager oversees the design, coordination, and implementation of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), research, and learning system of the project. They ensure the collection, quality control, and timely reporting of the project data along with the data archiving system. They build and maintain the capacity of project staff and partners in collecting qualitative and quantitative data and also suggest ways to improve project efficiencies and effectiveness. **RESPONSIBILITIES** Design, testing of baseline studies, periodic evaluations/research, and updating the project database system and M&E procedures. Set up M&E tools and systems, and train project staff and partners in M&E tools and data collection procedures. Contribute to field activities including delineation of project sites, the establishment of monitoring plots, and field data collection. Support landscape staff and partners to collect high-quality and timely data on all project activities. Assist project staff and partners in issues related to monitoring. Analyze datasets, evaluate project impact, and suggest strategies to improve project efficiencies and effectiveness. Perform administrative duties such as preparing reports, meeting minutes, and other project files when requested. Carry out monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports, operations, and mid-term and final evaluations. Tracking of support, capacities of trainees, and local communities in the landscape. **WORKING CONDITIONS** Spend at least 50% in the field and working outside the eight-hour day. Very good physical conditions are required during a stay in rural areas with harsh conditions: cold, rain, steep and slippery slopes, etc. Guidance on flexible work arrangements will be shared during the interview process. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Required** Bachelor's Degree (Bac + 3) in Forestry or Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management, Earth Sciences 4 to 6 years of professional experience. Very strong GIS and remote sensing skills. Strong experience in database setup and management. Proven experience in training/capacity building. Experience in forest monitoring plot establishment. Proven experience in community mobilization and interaction. Writing, analytical, and synthesis skills. Good conversational and writing skills in English. Good knowledge of the project intervention zone. **Preferred** Very strong GIS and remote sensing skills. Good conversational and writing skills in English.
