**Introduction**:
**Description**:
The role of **Senior Internal Auditor** entails being in charge of carrying out various assurance and consulting reviews throughout the organisation and its partners. This shall be accomplished in line with the yearly audit plan provided by the organization's Audit Committee and carried out in compliance with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Audit.

**Start Date**:As soon as possible

**Responsibilities**:
The position calls for:

- Conduct assurance and consultancy studies for the company, its subsidiaries, portfolio managers, underwriting firms, and overseas partners.
- Adherence to the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Audit and the Internal Audit methodology.
- Managing the audit team's performance, including a thorough examination of the audit team's findings and efforts.
- Accountable for the whole audit process, from preparation through report completion.
- Creating and reviewing audit processes to evaluate the sufficiency and efficiency of controls
- Prepare audit findings with a thorough analysis of the main causes and useful suggestions.
- Assemble the draft audit report and hold talks with various levels of management to support the accomplishment of the strategic and financial goals of the organisation and business partners.
- Follow up on audit-related issues that are brought up and contribute to the audit committee's and other pertinent risk committees' reports.
- Maintain high standards for the auditing process, strategy, and records.
- Implementation and enhancement of all audit work's general quality assurance.
- Mentoring and assisting young auditors.
- Fostering partnerships with others.
- Showcase and use holistic, big-picture, and forward-looking thinking.
- Assisting with a mixed assurance model (includes working with external auditors and other assurance providers).
- Traveling may be necessary on a national and international level

**Work Experience**:

- 4 to 5 years of internal auditing experience or pursuing a CA, ACCA, or CIA certification.
- Knowledge of insurance processes and experience in insurance-related financial audits

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Internal audit / accounting or a qualification of an equal calibre.
- Completed articles (external audit)
