Senior Bookkeeper

An Accounting Firm in Cape Town is offering an initially hybrid opportunity in Northern Suburbs and then later in office.

We are looking for a qualified Senior Bookkeeper who can prepare Accounts to Trial Balance for Accountants. Reconciliation of Bank accounts, Debtors and Creditors and Balance Sheet Ledgers will be part of your day. You need to have a good understanding and experience with Payroll on Sage, Paymaster, Simple Pay and Pastel. Journal entries and knowledge of stock control and stock adjustments will round out the function.

You will be taking over and setting up new sets of books for clients, so organization and accurate take on will be essential. This role requires that you visit clients at their premises, so you will need your own transport.

As with any Bookkeeping role, problem solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.

Accounting Packages: Sage One Accounting, Xero, Zoho, Quick Books Online, Pastel

Bilingual-Fluent in English and Afrikaans

3 month contract and then permanent.

Notice period after permanent is two months
