Catering Manager - Somerset West to take full responsibility and management of the contract:

- Setting up and management of service delivery standards
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop a team
- Implement and maintain operational controls in line/within budgetary requirements
- Ensure the quality of food preparation, presentation, and service is up to standards
- Oversee the daily running of Laundry and Housekeeping services
- Ensure all policies and procedures are complied with
- Daily HR and IR issues (including training, development & performance management)
- Take responsibility for all functions by organizing, preparing & coordinating.
- Management of all administration, finances, debtors, budgets, etc.
- Process paperwork and compile & understand weekly & monthly reports
- Relationship building with the client and customers daily (essential)
- Stay abreast of the latest food trends and best practices

Qualifications **Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent level of competence**
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience
- Previous experience within a Hospitality and hospital environment.
- Able to work shifts when needed
- Own transport - Essential

Skills **Strong judgment and problem-solving** Excellent people skills **Strong interpersonal and communicative skills (verbal and written)** Flexibility with regards to working hours **Attention to detail** Client service orientated **Business management principles** Fully computer literate **Excellent food/Chef skills and background** Housekeeping and logistics background.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From R15 000,00 per month

- Somerset West, Western Cape 7130: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
