Global Operations Resource Superintendent

**General Purpose of the Position**:
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality programs, and policies. Responsible for, and actively Supervises IGS field services personnel while building and maintaining interpersonal relationships. Understand IGS product and service offerings and how they relate to solving metal wastage problems for customer equipment and processes, support growth of strong Resource capabilities

Maintain both short
- and long-term operational readiness per operations plan, this position will be the custodian of the GO resource Supervision and development plan in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.

Provides feedback to IGS management team for corporate strategic initiatives related to customer service, safety, quality, project incentives and technical training needs. Supports IGS strategic growth objectives through execution of quality projects that directly impact the scalability and efficacy of IGS.

**This Position will Entail fulfilling the Project Superintendent role as detailed in the Project Superintendent Job Description when required.**

**Critical Success Factors**:

- Supervises all GO HVTS field service personnel, serving as a resource for all day-to-day support of manpower activities
- Tracks progress of individuals within the IGS Field Service organization, making recommendations to Supervision for promotions and advancement
- Performs all reporting and administrative tasks in an expedient and accurate manner
- Conduct is always professional through personal adherence and coaching of Team Leaders and Technicians in the use of IGS Values (the IGS Way)
- Establish clear reporting of manpower inventory and capacity, working closely with Global Resource Manager to plan for future manpower needs
- Establish and maintain mentor relationship to IGS front-line Supervision team
- Establish Visa Management program to provide visibility on team readiness and deployability

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Manpower Supervision (75%)**
- Training
- Implement training program in collaboration with NAM training manager and IGS Operations team
- Create and Supervise approved training budget for designated training activities
- Field Services Superintendent
- Supervise manpower retention by executing approved retention strategies
- Primary point of contact for IGS GO field-service team on all personnel issues
- Serves as primary liaison between IGS A HR, IGS INC HR, IGS A Operations Management Team and IGS GO Operations Management team on all field service recruiting activities
- Operations support of IGS GO training activities
- Responsible for administering and/or facilitating mid-year and end-of-year evaluations for hourly field-service personnel
- Administers hourly GO wage budget; evaluating and recommending end of season increases and promotions while ensuring both are consistently applied within the process guidelines.
- Provides annual budget input for GO field technicians
- Partners with Recruiting department to ensure pipeline of qualified technicians is hired, trained and integrated into the GO and balance of IGS organization
- Interact with Global Ops hourly manpower team to maintain communication between individuals and company in such a way that employees know what projects they are being assigned, logistics and travel details, understand their needs and communicate back to manpower team with respect to time off, availability, etc.
- Manpower project assignment recommendations in collaboration with scheduling manager
- Personnel Qualifications, and Skills Compliance
- Make recommendations for placement personnel into the most well-suited areas of the IGS field-service organization
- Responsible for following up on training efficacy in field at all levels of field-service organization
- Owner of manpower qualification tracking (Expirations Reminder is platform currently used)
- Maintains GO HVTS skills inventory and works closely with designated Advanced Training Superintendent to identify gaps within field-service skills offering
- Supervise visa program in collaboration with GO Admins to meet seasonal requirements

**Coaching and Leadership Development (20%)**- IGS Field coaching program head manager
