As our successful Project Manager EMEA, you will ensure proper management of customer projects for premix EMEA organization.

In this position you will be responsible for supporting external and internal customers and ensuring that assigned projects are properly managed using appropriate tools with a proper structure and in a timely manner.

This role is embedded in the EMEA region, reporting to the regional quality structure and based in South Africa, Isando and assures high standards in terms of the project management and communication.

As our Project Manager EMEA, you will be expected to manage strategic commercial projects across the EMEA region. You will represent the operational team in the assigned projects and ensure proper communication between functions involved in the project, project team, Steering Committee if applicable, and customers.

You will also be expected to collaborate closely with Local teams - Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Site Management and Regional teams - Premix and Raw material Compliance, Procurement, Regional SC, Regional Master Data, Formulation and Application, Customer care and Sales teams.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Organizing and leading project meetings including internal alignments, project team meetings, Steering Committee and customer meetings.
- Developing project plans, identifying and assigning project tasks.
- Monitoring and tracking project performance to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicating priorities to the project team and highlighting possible challenges to the Management/ Project Steering Committee.
- Regularly Compiling and sharing project status reports to management, customers and stakeholders.
- Developing leadership skills to effectively involve all project stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining customer relations.
- Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation

Other:

- Supporting HNC EMEA strategy and policies implementation
- Proactively propose new solutions and tools to improve overall project management locally and regionally.
- Ensure Customer Centricity approach with proper queries responsiveness and CRM usage
- Supporting achieving regional and local KPI’s

Quality, Environment, Safety and Health:

- Support and enforce the policy of reporting incidents, possible SHE incidents and improvement possibilities and checks that the work is routinely risk assessed. Encourage colleagues and management to improve SHE results and prevent incidents.
- Follow instructions and procedures.

**You bring**:

- Minimum a Degree qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or similar
- 5 years’ experience in project management in food industry.
- Experience working in matrix organization in an international company
- Practical knowledge and experience in using project management tools
- Knowledge of food and/or pharma industry requirements and standards from food or similar industry.
- Experience in managing customer projects and leading direct conversations with external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
- High learning agility, open-minded personality and influencing skills,
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders of different levels, building and maintaining relations
- Support mentality and affinity to solve problems, positive attitude towards challenges.
- High customer-focus and proactiveness.
- Very good communication and presentation skills, excellent work organization, ability to work under the stress and time pressure.
