**Location**: Midrand, South Africa

**Key Responsibilities**:
Forecast and Demand analysis of raw materials and Finished goods

Independently handle material requirement generation based on forecast of various products.

Perform daily Planning/Procurement functions in support of order fulfilment/cost optimization objectives & ensure an effective and efficient Order-to-Supply process

Manage vendors for right and timely delivery of the product

Provides proactive and accurate communication in support of the Plan, Source, Make, Deliver process

Coordinating with Manufacturing facilities and suppliers for on time delivery

Material replenishment for both production and sales orders (transit order).

Ensure the production continuity as the agreed production plan.

Manage the inventory / stock level as per given target to ensure the Supply Chain's Inventory Objective

Order confirmation for transit orders with procurement type F

Record & Manage SNC with the help of QA, COE & Supplier with RCA & CAPA.

Properly applies planning parameters and suggests changes to parameters as required;
Monitoring slow moving and obsolescence inventory.

Maintaining product masters in SAP after computation of planning lead time, production lead time, transportation lead time

Engineering Bachelor's Degree, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics or Equivalent

Proficient in Supply Chain Planning techniques

Proficient in Inventory management

APICS Certified preferred

3-5 years experience managing procurement area, following suppliers performance and being responsible for the available raw materials at consumption point

Ability to manage and meet deadlines and multi-task daily activities

Detailed understanding of Materials Replenishment Planning concepts and their role in supply planning

Detailed understanding of how a supply plan is generated and managed

Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in standardizing processes
