**Content Writer**

The client is looking for passionate, curious and creative individuals to join us on our mission to change the face of education and empower young people to engage in remote learning.

**Core responsibilities/ Deliverables**:

- Create content for English speaking audience

**Day-to-day activities**:
**Content Development**
- Create incredible content. Writing, editing, and project managing content that supports training programmes including (but not limited to): lesson plans, book content, blog posts, landing pages, case studies, magazine articles and video scripts
- Write copy that is engaging, connects with people
- Ideation for relevant content topics in schools
- Research topics to generate original and impactful content that will attract and inspire decision makers in schools and families
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality content that meets school’s priorities
- Support writing tenders and grant reports
- Post content on social media profiles on popular platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Tik Tok and Linked-In
- Liaise with national print based and digital media
- Engage with media in all aspects of promotional activities

**Skills or experience required**:

- Education: Master’s in Teaching, Masters in English or similar
- 5-10 years proven experience in education, training or publication environment
- A structured thinker with excellent written and verbal communications skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience using Zoom, MS Office, Adobe InCopy, Adobe InDesign
- Preferred experience but not essential, using Hoote Suite, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
- Ability to use and self-manage online Kanban/ Tasks
- Capable of working on own initiative
- Ability to maintain focus in a busy environment
- Passionate about people and educating young people
- Willingness to self-learn and use new technology

**Other skills or experience an advantage**:

- Good understanding of Edtech business models and the value they add on a community and national level, to both young people and adults
- Good understanding of the challenges faced by teachers, families and young people in an ever-changing technology world
