POSITION: Audit Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Audit Manager
SUBORDINATES: up to 5
Overall objective of job function:
Supervision of various aspects of audit assignments.
Oversee and perform planning and field work.
Coach and mentor Trainee Accountants.
Job Specification (Output):
Key responsibilities will include, inter alia, Supervision of:
Quality
Complete all aspects of audits, relevant to portfolio of clients as follows:

- Review, supervise and perform the following audit requirements for each client engagement:

- Pre-engagement
- Planning
- Fieldwork
- Finalisation of audit
Supervision and training
- Delegate duties to subordinates, supervise and provide on the job training
- Assist with presenting training topics to trainees - tutorial and classroom sessions
- Review PSR and TSR of Trainee Accountants timeously in line with SAICA training regulations
Operations
- Effective contractual and commercial management of all audits
- Monitor deadlines to ensure they are achieved
- Regular communication of the above to both manager and partner
Financial
- Review and monitor audit budgets
- Assist manager with monitoring and managing WIP balances
Qualifications:

- BCOM (Honours), CTA or equivalent
Work Experience:

- Completion of articles

- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Good clear communication skills
- Task orientated/deadline driven
- Delivery through team management
- Exceptional attention to detail
Remuneration:
Commensurate with experience

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Honours (required)

**Experience**:

- completed articles: 3 years (required)
