**Job Title: Team Leader (Logistics) Closing date: 8 November 2024**

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead, guide and supervise the team to understand and adhere to all company and factory rules and regulations. Actively respond to all company and factory arrangements. Organize the team to efficiently accept and complete assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with the technical quality department to enhance shelves, tools, and related equipment. Ensure team members' ongoing technical quality development and actively work to strengthen quality awareness across the team.
- Oversee all aspects of logistics site management, including employee performance, work discipline, and cleanliness. Promptly identify and address any issues arising during production to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage material receiving, issuing, and storage activities, ensuring materials are organized in compliance with safety and quality standards. Conduct regular inventory checks and verifications to maintain accurate stock records.
- Maintain strong communication with other departments involved in workshop production to ensure efficient information flow and collaboration. Support the coordinated completion of production tasks.
- Oversee and promote safe, respectful work practices. Provide logistics team members with training in relevant skills and safety protocols. Ensure cleanliness of the team’s work area, including tools, vehicles, and equipment.
- Follow all management directives and complete any additional tasks assigned by leadership.
- Available for overtime as needed to meet operational demands
- Reliable transportation required

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Completion of Grade 12
- Minimum of 5 year’ experience within the Automotive industry
- At least 8 years’ experience in Logistics, Warehouse or Supply Chain management, with a strong preference with team management experience
- Extensive experience in logistics operations, with the ability to manage all aspects of storage and distribution within both warehouse and production environments.
- Thorough knowledge of logistics workflows, and proficiency with logistics vehicles, tools, and equipment.
