**Job Purpose**:
To undertake general administrative and clerical functions on operations to ensure orderly
development of Durban Metropolitan areas.

**Key Responsibility Areas**:
Carries out reception duties by way of receiving visitors.
Receives complaints mainly from members of the public.
Collects, captures and maintains statistics and records in respect of demolitions carried out
and queries/ complaints received in this regard.
Performs effective and efficient typing/ word processing functions of specific and general
correspondence for the manager and all other officials of the branch.
Creates and maintains the informal settlement database.
Maintains a photographic filing system of aerial photographs and video tape library of all
demolitions.

**Essential Requirements**:
Matric/Grade 12.
12 Months relevant experience.
Computer Literacy.

**Preferred Requirements**:
Relevant certification accredited by SAQA.
18 Months relevant experience
