- Degree or Diploma in Food Technology Similar
- Matric Certificate
- 2-3 year’s quality assurance and production experience
- HACCP certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Experience with auditing and compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Live in the surrounding area
- Fully Bilingual - Afrikaans & English

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and monitor the company's food safety and quality management systems.
- Investigate and resolve any quality or safety issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement food safety and quality control procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all quality and safety inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards are met.
- Stay current on industry trends and changes in food safety regulations.
- Ensure that staff adhere to the cleaning regimes required for all process areas.
- Conduct inspections and measurements to ensure compliance from a statutory point of view, personal hygiene in the workplace, and product quality.
- Identifying and managing critical control points (CCPs) within production facilities.
- Overseeing effective allergen management within all production facilities and among suppliers.
- Managing microbiological testing, specifying type of tests, frequency, and accept/reject criteria for both product and environment.
- Raw material sourcing and approval: ensuring that production and suppliers source from approved raw material suppliers and that specifications and allergen management practices are in place.
- Troubleshoot customer complaints and perform route cause analyses.
