Debtors Contoller

**It is essential to have experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry and knowledge of rebates. Familiarity with working on Sage software would be advantageous.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily and monthly debt collection activities
- Ensuring debtors ageing remains within payment terms
- Maintaining controls on customer credit limits
- Adhering to CGIC (Credit Guarantee Insurance Corporation) policy
- Timely processing of credit notes and provisions
- Additional value-added duties of an adhoc nature
- Creating a culture of execution
- Displaying business insight and innovation
- Facilitating inter-departmental relationships to promote overall growth
- Developing commitment through engagement

Qualifications:

- Matric
- Fully computer literate
- Diploma/Degree in a relevant field

Role Competencies:

- Previous experience as a debtors controller in the FMCG and/or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with retail chains, rebates, and managing a book of R50m+
- Strong debtors reconciliation skills
- Proficiency in using Sage software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Direct/Indirect Reports: As per Organogram (company's organizational structure)
