**PURPOSE OF POSITION**

The purpose of this role is to provide critical support to the Supply Chain Department by assisting with administrative tasks, data capturing, stock movement tracking, supplier coordination, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day supply chain activities. This role plays a key part in helping the business maintain efficient stock control and procurement processes.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Accurately capture and update supply chain data on internal systems
- Assist with the coordination of stock movements between departments and locations
- Support procurement activities, including placing orders and following up with suppliers
- Maintain organised records of invoices, delivery notes, and supplier documents
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and stock availability
- Assist with inventory control processes and cycle counts
- Help resolve supply discrepancies and report stock issues to relevant managers
- Perform general administrative tasks related to supply chain operations
- Ensure all documentation is correctly filed and up to date

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic software tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and suppliers
- Strong time management and the ability to work under pressure
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12) - **Essential**:

- Relevant qualification or experience in supply chain/logistics - **Advantageous**
