**Manager - Risk Governance and Reporting**
**_ Key Responsibilities:_**
- Formulate the Risk Management Strategy and Risk Management Plan.
- Embed risk governance systems throughout the organization.
- Provide advisory and reporting support to the Risk Function.
- Develop and maintain a client-focused environment with best practice service delivery.
- Engage stakeholders and coordinate enterprise risk-related committees, meetings, and initiatives.
**_ Preferred Qualifications and Experience:_**
- Postgraduate qualification, preferably in Risk Management.
- Membership in the Institute of Risk Management of South Africa (IRMSA).
- 8-10 years of experience in a risk management function, preferably in insurance companies.
- 4-6 years of experience in Risk Governance and Reporting.
- 5 years of experience with regulatory reporting, such as ORSA and QRR.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership or management position.
**_ Critical Competencies:_**
- Strong understanding of enterprise-wide Risk Management Framework and Strategy Setting.
- Ability to embed a risk and ethics culture and build a value-based ethics program.
- Proficiency in strategy planning, crafting, implementation, and reporting.
- Experience in establishing, implementing, and maintaining mechanisms and activities related to Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Risk Governance, and Social and Ethics.
- Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance Systems, such as CURA.
- Strategic analysis skills.
- Ethics monitoring expertise.
**_ Additional Requirements:_**
- Availability for travel as required.
- Willingness to work long hours when necessary.
