IT Technician

As a IT Technician, you'll have the following duties but not limited to:

- Working with the Technical Product Manager, Project Managers and overseas technical leads to produce test plans.
- Collaborating with R&D to ensure that test scripts are adequate and appropriate.
- Analyze test results.
- Work with end clients to evaluate and diagnose software problems.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts.
- Carry out field testing to evaluate the mobile applictations performance.
- Play a lead role in the product release process.
- Understand Android and Windows mobile devices from a user perspective.
- Perform all tasks with attention to detail.
- Follow establised client process and procedures for reporting and testing.
- Read and comprehend requirements for testing.
- Provide daily & weekly status test reporting to test lead as provided from time to time.
- Create defect reports.
- Troubleshoot issues experienced during testing.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from client and test leads.
- Manage client devices for testing purpooses.
- Manage client SIMs for testing purposes.
- Attend client meetings as necessary for testing purposes.
- Identify data requirements for testing purposes.

As a IT Technician, you'll have the following measurables:

- Effective descriptions on testing done in a way that will make it possible to reproduce findings
- Accuracy in reporting, both internally and externally
- Clear and efficient communication
- Accurate reporting on project status
- Accurate testing by following test guidelines

**Salary**: R180,000.00 - R300,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Modderfontein, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- IT technician: 3 years (required)
