**What are we looking for?**
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:
- Grade 12.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management.
**The responsibilities are**:
**Facilities planning and policies & process design**
- Develop the annual maintenance plan as aligned to budget to support the requirements across the campuses.
- Implement and roll out plans as aligned to annual school plan.
- Create maintenance schedules and timelines.
- Create, implement and enforce facilities, maintenance and health and safety policies and procedures.
**Facilities Maintenance**
- Assign duties across campuses.
- Oversee the maintenance of facilities.
- Action on site repairs if possible.
- Log calls for maintenance requirements with head office.
- Oversee that contractor work is completed according to service level agreements.
- Provide onsite support for building as required.
- Preparation of facilities for school events.
- Maintain and oversee fields across all schools including all markings.
**Security Facilities Maintenance**
- Liaise with external security service provider.
- Act as first point of contact for security related issues.
- Logging of calls to repair faulty security equipment.
- General oversight of security equipment and proactive maintenance.
**Housekeeping**
- Develop the annual housekeeping plan as aligned to budget to support the requirements across the campuses.
- Implement and roll out plans as aligned to annual school plan.
- Create cleaning schedules and timelines.
- Create, implement and enforce housekeeping procedures.
- Assign duties across campuses.
- Oversee the cleaning of facilities.
- Log calls for maintenance requirements with maintenance team.
- Oversee that contractor work is completed according to service level agreements.
- Preparation of facilities for school events.
**Health and Safety Management**
- Liaise with CURRO Head Office to establish all requirements.
- Completion and filing of Health and safety documentation.
- Manage the HS certification process.
- Ensures that all HS equipment is in place and maintained.
- Sets up, manages and communicates the JOC procedures for events.
**Asset management and maintenance**
- Maintain register of maintenance machinery.
- Compile and maintain a register of housekeeping and Health and Safety Equipment.
- Provide correct training for use of equipment.
- Oversee and storage of equipment.
- Oversee maintenance of equipment.
**Budget Management**
- Compile the annual maintenance budget as aligned to school requirements.
- Compile the annual housekeeping as aligned to school requirements.
- Compile the annual health and safety budget as aligned to school requirements.
- Monitor budget spend and control expenditure.
- Order and procure all required commodities.
**Staff Management**
- Recruitment and selection of new staff within salary budget in conjunction with Executive Head.
- Mentoring and management of Staff.
- Staff appraisals.
- Management of disciplinary issues and then referral to Executive Head as required.
- Sign off leave roster and management of leave allocations.
- Management and remediation of absenteeism.
- Managing overtime when required and signing it off in conjunction with Head of respective school.
- Development of staff.
- Manage staff retention.
