This role entails providing Middle Office operations and systems knowledge to ensure the successful execution of Middle Office daily workflows such as internal record keeping, trade support and required daily and ad-hoc reporting across equity and credit strategies. Collaborating with trading, operations, portfolio management and research staff to resolve complex requests and inquiries to resolution. Preparing and analyzing ongoing metrics and dashboards to support business decisions. Executing projects and initiatives to identify and implement operational best practices, system enhancements, and policy changes. This role also entails training team members on policy changes and system enhancements.

- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of Middle Office processes and systems, as well as internal products and services.
- Handle complex inquiries from trading and operational staff and ensure maximum client satisfaction.
- Monitor the automated reporting process according to established deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze ongoing metrics and dashboards to support regulatory requirements and business decisions.
- Execute projects and initiatives to identify and implement operational best practices, system enhancements, and policy changes, including software programs and technology tools Participate in identifying systems requirements and systems testing.
- Train team members on policy changes and system enhancements.
- Ensure specialists are equipped and enabled to render sound technical expertise and guidance to Transaction Management team on new facilities.
- Serve as a point of contact between the front and back offices, provide guidance and expertise with making material changes to agreements, set standards for record-keeping, and oversee the monitoring under facilities.
- Collaborate with the Product area on new trades, and modify operational procedures in the structured loan sector.
- Provide process management support in the delivery of projects and initiatives to support the effective functioning of short-term operational areas, including front-office initiatives in conjunction with the product team.
- Provide support on query resolution and process optimisation for the short-term money market team.
- Compile and assist the front office and transactions management team with the presentation all new deals and/or Renewals through Deal Making Forum (DCF) Forum.
- Oversee the coordination of pricing activities i.e., discussions, client confirmations, credit limit approvals etc. and resolve any escalated challenges to ensure a seamless process.
- Guide subsidiaries with Structured Trade Capital Finance (STCF) structured trades, in line with the Global Product Owner (GPO) support model.
- Implement effective computer models for the evaluation and recording of each transaction.
- Oversee and consolidate the coordination of DCF, considering the input from the product team regarding an overview of the respective product
- Develop new requirements, products and/or solutions by partnering with the Product team(s).
- Advise product teams in general risk and identify and elaborate on gaps in the product sets and systems.
- Compile risk-free processes for the management of all Deal / Facility DCF.
- Ensure that all action items from relevant meetings have been allocated; follow up on progress to completion.
- Ensure that all approvals have been completed on the DCF Site (including Ops Risk) prior to drawdown.
- Conduct overall compliance checks on the DCF site to ensure all action items addressed etc. and engage in audit management and solutioning for audit findings/service breakdowns/breaches.
- Provide insight as an SME during strategic projects and initiatives to support effective functioning of STCF, not only limited to enhancing existing and implementing new systems.
- Drive the delivery of Transaction Management training, vet and sign off all training material, ensuring that information is accurate and positioned to achieve the purpose of the training.
- Attend forums and project management meetings, stay informed about operational conditions, and provide early warnings to the Chief Operating Officers and Desk Heads.
- Define and implement correctly calibrated Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to facilitate timely reports including, losses and incidents and early warning signals.
- Participate in project working groups when needed and provide post-go-live
