**Job description**

**Position**: Payroll Specialist

**Role**: Contract

**Opportunity**:
Our client is looking for a contract Payroll specialist.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for employees.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll, including salaries, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
- Manage employee deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to process new hires, terminations, and any payroll changes.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and generate payroll reports as needed.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll.

**Qualifications**:

- **5+ years of experience** in payroll processing.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex payrolls.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

**Job Type**: Temporary
